Listed and Unlisted Companies
A listed company means a company whose securities are listed on a recognized stock exchange. NSE and BSE are recognized stock exchange modes. on the other hand, unlisted company means those companies whose securities are not listed on recognized stock exchanges.
In addition, four more companies and these four companies, even though they have listed some securities in recognized stock exchanges, will not be considered listed companies, which means they are becoming unlisted companies only.
Four Company
First is Public companies have not listed their equity shares but they have listed non-convertible debentures but that they have issued on a private placement basis.
Second Again is Public companies have not listed their equity shares but they have listed non-convertible preference shares but that they have issued on a private placement basis.
Third is Again is Public companies have not listed their equity shares but they have listed non-convertible debentures and non-convertible preference shares but that they have issued on a private placement basis.
Forth is Private companies have not listed their equity shares but they have listed non-convertible debentures but that they have issued on a private placement basis.
