Quorum
If we start a meeting so the minimum number of members are
to be must present is called a Quorum. First, see the Article for a Quorum. If mentioned
in the Article a greater number of a Quorum so more number of Quorums will be
taken. If the Article is silent so, for a public company with up to 1000
members so, 5 members must be present for a Quorum. If members are 1000 to 5000
so, 15 members are personally liable for a Quorum, and above 5000 members the
30 members must be personally present not to include as proxies. For a private
company, 2 members personally present, if the article says 15 members for a
quorum so, 15 will be taken.
Understand If Quorum Does Not Come
Let us understand, the meeting timing was 11 o clock and ½ hours
were gone, this 11 o clock time is called the appointed time if ½ hours are passed and the quorum does not come, so, the meeting has to be adjourned on the same
day same time at the same place in the next week or decided by bord but whatever
date will to be fixed under within 3 days’ notice should send to a public.

let us understand if a meeting was called by request and in a meeting quorum members does not come so, the meeting has to be canceled not to adjourned but if the meeting was called by the board so, in this case, the meeting has to be adjourned if the adjourned meeting held and quorum members are not come in adjourned meeting so, every member in adjourned meeting assumed to be a quorum and such quorum member will take a decision is acceptable.
