Ashley Furniture wants you to be pleased with your shopping experience, and if you're unhappy, Ashley has your back! Ashley understands it – sometimes things don't match your style or space. So, here are the drawbacks of our return and exchange policy. You have 30 days from your item's delivery date to decide if it is a match made in Ashley. To make a return or exchange, just make sure the item is brand new and unused. Very easy!

 Now, there are some exceptions. Some of our sellers have their own rules, and you'll find those details on the item's page. Additionally, if you purchased custom fabrics or colors on a special order, unfortunately, they are not returnable. The same goes for bedding and linens – once they're yours, they're yours. For returns, contact us via email or phone, and Ashley will hook you up with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Since Ashley has the old U.S. Items coming from different U.S. warehouses, it is important to contact us so Ashley can give you the correct return address. Here are the details, Ashley got some shipping charges on returns - round trip, baby! If your item arrives on the "Free Shipping" train, Ashley will charge for the actual outbound shipping. And there's a 25% restocking fee unless you're swapping for something identical or more excellent or opting for store credit. However, round-trip shipping charges still apply in these cases.

 When sending items back, make sure they are in their original boxes and undamaged. Once something is put together, it's a keeper, but Ashley is still open to exchange. Oh, and just be careful special-order items with customizable clothing are no refundable. you've been understood. And hey, if you decide to play hide-and-seek with your delivery and reject it, keep in mind that Ashley return policy and manufacturer's terms (check the product page or let us know) will apply.

Returning purchases made easy

Contact: Drop us a line and tell us your order number, what you are shipping, and your name. Ashley will give you an "RMA number" (just a special code), a return address, and all the necessary information. Ashley needs to say yes before Ashley sends anything back to you, so don't forget this step!

Pack it well: Wrap your item carefully, like you're wrapping a gift. It should be in its original packaging and look fresh.

Send it back: Use your preferred shipping method and send it to the address Ashley gave you for returns. Our main office cannot take returns, so keep this in mind!

Keep us informed: Let us know when you're due back. Save the tracking number from your shipping receipt and email it to us. It's like a special pass for your return journey.

Be patient: Waiting for a refund can feel like watching paint dry, but be patient! It takes some steps, and some of them are not under our control. Please do not ask for a chargeback from your credit card company while we sort things out.

Important Note: Unless Ashley made a mistake, Ashley cannot refund shipping and handling charges. And remember, returns must be in their original size and packaging. Ashley cannot take back items that have been put together or customized.
