Floor and Decor Return Policy


90-Day Return Policy

At Floor & Decor®, know how important it is to find the right products for your projects. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, whether from the Floor & Decor store or online, you can return it within 90 days with a valid receipt, and Floor & Decor will refund you the money. HoFloor & Decorver, please note that Floor & Decor may limit or refuse returns. Be sure to keep the original packaging for your return.

For returns made after 90 days or without a receipt, Floor & Decor may, at our discretion, offer a refund at the item's last Floor & Decor price. You must provide a valid photo ID, and Floor & Decor will record the information. Our refund process is verified by a third-party system.

Here's what you need to know for an approved return

1.      Goods must not be damaged and must be in resalable condition.

2.      Returns will be refunded to the original payment method within 90 days.

3.      Returns after 90 days or without a receipt will receive merchandise credit.

4.      Cash or check purchases over $500 will be refunded via mailed check.

5.      Original packaging requirement

6.      Returns must be unopened and in the original packaging and quantity. For example, if you purchased tiles in a box, return them in the box unless otherwise stated:

7.      Individual pieces may be returned if purchased as samples.

8.      Decorative mosaics can be returned piece by piece, unopened, and in their original packaging.


Important points to note

Once a product is installed it cannot be returned. Floor & Decor is not liable for product malfunction, damage, or lost labor costs due to improper installation. Any claims for damage or shortage must be made upon receipt of the product. Carefully inspect all products before installation, as their use is subject to acceptance. Installed flooring cannot be exchanged or returned.

Special order

There is no penalty for special orders canceled before shipping and the full amount including shipping costs is refunded. After shipping, customers bear all outgoing and return shipping expenses. Special orders can be canceled in-store or by calling customer service. Non-custom special-order products can be returned to any Flooring & Decor location.

custom order

Custom order items such as countertops, Tread Floor & Decor staircase parts, and cabinets cannot be returned once purchased. Floor & Décor can, damaged, or defective products may be exchanged. Contact Customer Service for assistance.

damaged shipment

Do not reject any shipment. Refusal of shipment will result in applicable shipping charges for returns. Contact Customer Service for assistance.

lost shipment

If a shipment is lost, contact Customer Service for assistance.

Design Studio Returns

Floor & Decor Design Studio locations cannot accept physical merchandise returns. Items purchased from Design Studios can be returned at any Floor & Decor store. Contact Customer Service to arrange return shipment.
